Marx and Street Performing

I have a friend who is a street performer from seattle currently residing in New Orleans. He is against the Capitalist system for very many of the same reasons Marx is. He believes that the capitalistic society demeans the individual because capitalism assumes that production is apart of a larger product not belonging to the individual. Street Performing is my friends way to create or produce for the sake of his own production and not for the demands of a greedy machine.
