I AM A NIGGA?
Sartre asserts thats upon realizing our freedom despair and anguish are inevitable. However, I personally embrace the fact that I can not be contained by facticity. Yes I am a Black man in America and no it does not define my every action. There is a certain consciousness and empowerment that accompanies realizing that you can transcend different groups and not be defined as only a nigga. Although I am controlled by the fact I am a nigga I recognize that denying so would merely be a flight from reality. in essence, an act of bad faith. No, I do not believe it is disrespect to refer to myself as a derogatory term in that context should always be accounted for. The problem of the Black man in America stems from trying to avoid the fact that yes you are all now niggers, niggas, cotton picker, bastards or a racist nation. So I tell you this, accept the fact that you are a nigga and take control of everything else.
