Does a Super Bowl=Happiness?
The Super Bowl is the ultimate goal in football for any player, coach, owner or fan. So of course the natural thought that reaching the Super Bowl and winning it would produce Happiness. But some may question this because Socrates believes that Happiness comes from living the good life. On that point with the recent transgressions of the Super Bowl winning quarterback of the Steelers, where he allegedly raped a young girl in the off season, its obvious that he was not living the good life. With that said I still believe that winning the Super Bowl does produce happiness in the end. The Super Bowl is just an accomplishment that comes from a year of hard work and sacrifice. Which I would consider living the good life. Although there are some exceptions, like in any other situation in life, it is impossible for a group of people to accomplish something so great as a Super Bowl championship if all of them are not living a good life. My point is that I believe the happiness does not necessarily come from winning the Super Bowl, but the long road and the countless good deeds and sacrifices that came along the way that ended with the winning of a championship.
